Car Finance for Muslims

We've had great feedback to the post below during the past year. Having spoken to a lot of our Muslim customers who were delighted to find our website, InterestFree4cars.com after reading the blog.  The response was fantastic with alot of our Muslim customers congratulating us for a fantastic car finance product, allowing them to spread the cost of their next car over 48 months with no interest to pay, deeming it permissable under the Muslim beliefs.

We would like to thank all of our past and future Muslim customers.

Q.   InterestFree4Cars.com- a permissible finance solution for Muslim beliefs in the UK?

Conventional United Kingdom financing options conflict with the core beliefs of the Muslim faith, and as a result, gives Muslims living in the UK who wish to finance a used car no choice but to go against their beliefs.  The core of Islamic economics is a prohibition on interest, meaning Muslims cannot take or give interest on anything.

This immediately creates a problem for Muslims, as conventional banks charge borrowers an interest rate through which they make profit.

Sharia law requires that Muslim people are not permitted to pay or receive interest.  In order to comply with Sharia, consumer banking has set up services for Muslim customers offering mortgages, this usually involves the bank buying the house but selling it back to the borrower at an inflated price and the customer paying ‘rent’ until the total amount is paid off.

An empty space waiting for halal (Lawful/Legal) car financing has been evident in the UK, InterestFREE4cars.com aims to fill that void by providing an honest, interest free finance option on all of our cars.

A Muslim car financing option has been required for a long time.  Interest free 4 cars offer customers good, quality used cars on finance with no interest payable over the term of the loan.  There is no hidden cost at any point of the agreement.

The cost of the car is spread equally over a maximum of 4 years.  The borrower is the registered keeper of the car and is responsible for the upkeep of it including servicing and repairs.  Extended warranties are offered (optionally) and can also be financed at 0%.

There are no fees for early settlement of the loan.

After careful research on the web for alternatives, it seems that the search for true Islamic car finance could be over.  Interest Free 4 Cars, whilst not Muslim based, ticks a large number of boxes associated with Islamic beliefs regarding financing. It offers Muslim people in the UK a great opportunity to finance a car without the forbidden element of interest, whilst also following the basic principle of being honest and transparent.

New website content

Just updated www.interestfree4cars.com with a new section on the homepage, you can now simply 'click' each box to see 'how it works'.  I had previously spent ages uploading some content which broke down the process of buying a car on 0% finance with us but it seemed like no one would read it.  I suppose when you're browsing for a new car online, the last thing you do is have a good read, your probably more likely to be engaged if you see pictures of cars and attractive prices.

The new 'how it works' boxes should hopefully get the message across as they are nice and simple and 'to the point'!

Have a read, just click each one www.interestfree4cars.com

Toyota appear to find a loophole in 'text and drive' laws, but is it safe?

Just read an article about Toyota revealing new models at the Frankfurt motor show.  Apparently one of the main features of the new Toyota Yaris is that it features an onboard text message facility that allows the driver to send and receive messages whilst on the move.  The system is legal as the law only relates to handheld devices, Toyota intend to have an onboard 'touch and go' multimedia screen, obviously we can tell that this isn't much different from texting on your phone but it is, nevertheless' a loophole that will allow this type of technology on to our roads.

Toyota's view is that it is far more dangerous to text on a mobile phone whilst driving as compared to typing on a screen, my view is that both will obviously draw the drivers eyes away from the road.

Electric Car Sales stumble.......

It’s no surprise that Vauxhall want some help persuading motorists to buy electric cars, as sales remain worryingly slow.

According to data from the Society of Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), only 812 battery models have been purchased so far this year.

The Nissan Leaf remains by far the most popular choice, with 499 finding homes, but none of the other five models available has sold even a quarter of that figure – Citroen has shifted only 21 examples of its C-Zero.

Yet while the electric car outlook is bleak, it’s a different story for the rest of the market, with SMMT figures showing that new car sales are picking up. In August, registrations rose by 7.3 per cent – the first increase in 13 months.
Could it be the Price?

I'd be happy to buy and use an electric car, because I don't do a lot of mileage. However, spending nearly £30k on a new car, albeit one with zero emissions is a ridiculous outlay! Now that more cars are coming in with sub 100gm/kilometre emissions, perhaps the cost of an electric car is just too much and drivers are settling for a compromise.

I'd also consider the lack of charging points, this  could be another reason for people's reluctance to commit to an electric car. I haven't seen one charging point where I live in Hull, East Yorkshire.  To be honest, the big scare is running out of power when, in reality, a bit of planning and the ability to recharge the batteries away from home would overcome that.

Plus, the cars are pig ugly!  Surely they could have designed something better than how the Nissan Leaf has turned out!!

Ideas?

At the moment it seems like www.interestfree4cars.com is the best kept secret in the world when it comes to reaching out to Muslim car buyers.  A previous blog post detailed that we believe www.interestfree4cars.com is 'Shariah compliant' when it comes to offering a convenient way to finance a car without paying interest.  We need some ideas to reach out to the Muslim community to let them know about our great Halal car finance offers!
